Well everyone after 2 weeks of extreme stress and sadness, I feel like I'm getting close to catching up witth my assignments and the rest of your blogs. Slloowww down, Ronnie .
But can I apply the steps and processes that I feel I've learned? That I'm not so sure about. For us to write a paper on the analysis processes was a challenge indeed but I feel that the reason was a good one and was used to get us accustomed to writing essay papers 1200 words and more. It's a "way of writing" that I know I certainly need to incorporate. I feel it was also to our benefit in the way that this assignment helped us get aquainted more with the terminolgy used in the writing process, as well as the methods.
I know I have so much more to learn and do to actually catch up not only with assignments and blogs but with the whole concept.. and I'm getting there

ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but chuckle on this post. I have to somewhat stay ahead due to the fact I leave for my career in about 10 days and my reception is not all that great. I am at home 28 days and away for 28 days so I try to stay a few assignments ahead in order to cover myself in the event of not being able to get online. But have no fear, I will always SLOW DOWN enough to read blogs that are posted. I have my blog set up to view recently posted blogs, and take the opportunity to read and comment as needed. I have truly tried to focus on my writing and viewing what works for others to take into consideration. I feel I have evolved, but know I can continue to do better. My focus is to continue to say more with less, although this is a pretty lengthy response. I do love your visual associations on the post. Nice job. Chin up. Push on.

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about trying to play catch up on assignments. I had to do that in the Spring Semester due to me having to have surgery and being hospitalized. I missed over a month of classes and had to come back after a week of having my stomach cut wide open and try to focus on class and homework. I managed to do it though. Stay strong and focused and you will get caught up.
When I originally enrolled in this class, I got an email from the English Department telling me to drop EN-100 and add EN-099 (I've been out of school for a while). After I enrolled in EN-099, I wrote a placement essay and they (English Department) said I could go back into EN-100. I was about two weeks behind and like you, trying to catch up. All I can tell you is don't worry, everything will work out.
